Yesterday was Ben's blessing day. For those of you who don't know, I guess it's the Mormon equivalent of a Christening. Jon got to give him a blessing in church. It was a really sweet moment and Jon gave Ben a wonderful blessing. The men in the circle (Jon, his dad, my dad, Lance, Jon's grandparents, Russell, and Bishop Bollinger) later informed me that Ben just stared at Jon and smiled through the whole thing. Jon says it was the best moment of his life. Benjamin really is a happy baby who loves his daddy. Also, Elder Nelson (one of the 12 Apostles, which are sort of like Archbishops I guess) was there since his son was blessing a baby as well. He gave a quick address which was lovely and uplifting. Plus, a girl was giving her homecoming adress after coming home from her 18 month mission. It was a really great meeting and a very special day for our little family.
After the meeting, Jon's parent had a get together, and Ben was so sweet with everyone. He really is a little flirt and just loves gettting as much attention as he can.

So, call me conceited, but our little family is pretty stinking adorable.

Four generations on Jon's side with his family and Grandma and Grandpa Workman.

I'm so happy you are here! I guess you're going to get me into the x-files if it's the last thing you do. you might have to come to my house to do it since i run out of steam at the end of the day :) obviously you are full of steam since all you have to do is entertain benjamin all day. ha! he's kind of a handful to entertain! anyway, we should hang out. :)
I love it. I love that fat little baby. Sorry I didn't call you today. It wasn't a free as I thought it was going to be. I'm leaving on Tuesday and have no plans until then. I'll call you or you call me.
